From November 2010 till now, the project has successfully completed the literature background research, project program planning, and the optimization of the film production process and formula at the laboratory stage. On July 3, 2010 and April 30, 2011, Ningbo Juhua Technology Co., Ltd. carried out phased acceptance of the project. The quality of the prepared packaging film sample has been tested by a third party to meet the requirements of GB/T 17030-2008, “Vinyl Chloride Tablets for Food Packaging Tools”, and successfully completed the project's phased mission objectives. In the next stage, the industrial conditions of the process conditions and new compound formulas will be amplified and finally promoted and applied. The film made of PVDC (Polyvinylidene Chloride) is a polymer material with the best water-blocking and oxygen-barrier properties. Its barrier properties are 1500 times that of PE, 1000 times that of PP, and 100 times that of PET. It is widely used. In food packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, military supplies packaging and other fields. Foreign large companies such as Dow Chemical and Japan's Wuyu Company have their own unique PVDC raw materials and matching membrane product production processes, which occupy most of the relevant markets in China. Juhua Co., Ltd. has developed a PVDC resin with completely independent intellectual property rights. It needs to find the processing conditions matching its own PVDC raw materials to overcome the problems of large number of crystal points, narrow processing intervals, and poor product mechanical properties. The polymer functional film research team conducted a variety of modification attempts and achieved substantive progress within half a year. After modification, the crystal point of PVDC film is greatly reduced and the mechanical properties are significantly improved without reducing the barrier property. At present, the pilot scale-up test is in progress. In the pilot stage, the film has no more than 1mm of crystal point, the average size of the crystal point is reduced from the original 18.9 microns to 11.4 microns, and the tensile properties of the film have also been increased from the original 47.1MPa to the current The 77.8MPa, which is conducive to improving the filling of the film and improve the shelf life of food. The implementation of this project will provide optimized processing technology for domestic PVDC resin, making the quality of PVDC membrane products in China surpass that of Dow Chemical and Japan's Wuyu Company, reaching the world's leading level.
