Rotary Drilling Hose is used for flexible connection between the top of the drilling pipe line and vertical moved swivel joint in oil drilling, work-over, well cementing and down-hole servicing operations. It transfers the drilling mud, well effluents or cement slurry and conveys the hydraulic fluid.
The outer layer is made of synthetic rubber which resists abrasion, oil, chemicals and weather. The inner layer is made of polyurethane and has a layer of steel wire braiding for reinforcement. The end connections are swaged and chemically bonded into the hose. Visual wear indicators are built into the hose construction for easy inspection. This reduces costs related to replacement, recertification and tracking. The hose is rated to 3000 psi working pressure. Several sizes are available with different working temperatures and hose lengths.
